The Mavis Island Project’s success is thanks the countless volunteers and donors.

The Mavis Island cabin has had various repairs by volunteers, most recently by the new Cordova Boy Scout troop. Volunteers are needed to help at summer camp when there are staff shortages. Most notably volunteers are the backbone of the Dressed to Kill fundraiser. Volunteers set-up sound, lights, and decorations as well as tear everything down the morning after. Volunteers work the entrance and assist in making the event run smoothly. The silent auction at Dressed to Kill is filled with a curated and diverse selection of art, goods, and services which are donated by individuals and businesses.
